This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use of the Services developed and maintained by Synelixis SA based on 10 Farmakidou Street, Chalkida, GR-34100, Evia, Greece. The Privacy Policy covers all the conditions for the collection, processing and management of your personal data, aiming at identifying you as a user of its Services and at supporting and performing them. The management and protection of your data is in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union as of May 25, 2018.

Data you provide

Account information

To use some of Synelixis’ Services you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you may need provide us with some personal information including your name, email address, username and password.

In some cases, you may want to add a profile image, a phone number or your address to your account. You can alter or delete these items any time you wish. Your username and profile image will appear in all your possible interactions with other users of the Service. We may also use your information to provide you with assistance in case you report a problem. Under no circumstances will your personal data be disclosed to third parties without your consent.

Beyond your identification, your email may, depending on your settings of the Service you have chosen, be used so that you may receive notifications for topics you have set or so that we may be able to interact directly with you. When using the SynField platform, in particular, you can see the location of your fields and nodes with the help of the Google Maps service, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Synelixis to protect the information it exchanges with its customers uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) decryption. This type of technology encodes the files when they are transferred electronically so that they are not intercepted by third parties.

Amendments to the Privacy Policy

Synelixis reserves the right to change or modify the Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions to the Privacy Policy will enter into force immediately, i.e. by posting them at http://www.synelixis.com/, where the most recent version will always be available. Any use of the services following such change or modification will be will be considered as acceptance of the changes, modifications, additions or deletions to the Privacy Policy.
